Story Hour is a casual environment in which to practice influential storytelling. 

Today's story prompt: When did you figure out what you wanted to be when you grow up? Before the event we encourage you to take 5-10 minutes reflecting on that question to identify a story you might share.

We chose this prompt because stories that answer this question help you introduce yourself, and can be endlessly useful. How often have you been caught off guard by or bored by your answer to, “Tell me about yourself.” This prompt will help you discover and practice at least one more version of your personal introduction.

If you have a story, we encourage you to volunteer to share it during Story Hour. We also welcome your participation as a listener and as part of our feedback group.
